When We Arrive at Your Home Or Business…
We know how it feels to wonder how things will go when you call for an inspection. We’d like to give you some information, so you’re prepared when our team shows up at your door.
1. Initial Inspection
It’s best if you meet with your sales representative on site during your scheduled appointment. This helps ease your project along, giving us a better understanding of your goals.
2. Addressing Your Specific Needs
It’s best if you meet with your sales representative on site during your scheduled appointment. This helps ease your project along, giving us a better understanding of your goals.
3. Document Your Building & Needs
We will take photographs, measurements, and document any findings.
4. Provide Estimate
Once your assessment is complete, we try to provide an estimate to you the same day on site. If we can’t make that work, we’ll email one to you within 48 hours or have a second follow up appointment scheduled before we leave that day.
5. Review Estimate
Your sales representative will review your estimate with you, review the scope of work, and provide you with additional materials that will help you understand our company, the products and services that we offer, and our processes and lead times.
6. After Your Appointment
Please make sure to review your estimate thoroughly on your own and make sure all of your personal info is correct and any pertinent details/ notes are clearly written for our production team. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
7. Accept Proposal
If you’re ready to proceed, please make sure to let your sales representative know! They will need to collect a signed proposal, confirm materials/ color details, and confirm any options or upgrades that you would like to accept. We can do this at our office or at your location.
8. Upon Receiving Your Signed Contract
We will get to work ordering the materials needed for job completion. Most materials are readily available, but please keep in mind that some materials, specifically those that are special order, may have extended lead times.
9. Project Schedule
We work based on a floating calendar. Many unknowns can arise during a project and the unpredictability of the weather. This means we usually only schedule about 3 days out. You should have received an estimated lead time when signing your proposal. Once we have a confirmed start date (1-3 days in advance) we will call you to confirm and review preparation details.

10 - Build Day!
You can expect our Knox Crew to show up and start at daylight. During the summer months, that usually means between 6:30 - 7:30 am. During the winter months, its closer to 7 - 8 am.
Materials
Your materials usually arrive the day before or the day of the job. Our project managers will be on site to confirm the correct materials have been delivered and will review the scope of work with our crew.
During the Project
We have multiple project managers you will see, along with our co-owners, stopping in to check on your project throughout the day. We do not expect our customers to stay home during their project and most of our customers prefer to be away as the project can be quite loud and messy. But it is a good idea to keep your cell phone handy in case anyone on our team has any questions.
Respecting Your Property
Protecting your property, landscaping, and possessions is a priority. Please make sure to remove any valuable items away from the perimeter of your home. This can include things like lawn furniture, decorative lawn ornaments, potted plants, grills, etc. If you have any areas we should take extra precaution with, please notify us ahead of time.
Quality Assurance
Once your project is complete, our crews will make sure to clean up and run nail magnets around the perimeter of the home and the driveway.
Our project Managers will come by to do a quality check (QC) to make sure the entire work has been completed and make sure everything has been properly cleaned up, and we will haul away any leftover materials.
Payment
We will have an invoice ready to accept payment once the QC is complete. If you have additional work, please remember that we invoice as each trade is complete so additional work will be invoiced separately.
Thank You for Choosing Knox Services
It is our #1 goal to provide you with the best experience possible during this time.
If you have any questions, please call our office at (765) 413-6226.

"The folks at Knox put on a new roof and new siding/gutters for us this past summer, at two different times with two different crews. We ran into a few roadblocks--like having to create a "cricket" on the roof to divert water to another direction, or having to bring in the "window guys" to stabilize old windows as new siding was going on. Matt and C'Koh just took care of it and brought in whoever needed to do the work--and they even managed to do all the work without damaging the flowers and shrubs! I would highly recommend them--excellent customer service and really nice people!"

"Called Knox and set up an appointment with Heather to inspect an area of the roof with a possible hole reported to me by my gutter cleaner. Mark Savage phoned prior to the appointment to confirm appointment and arrival time. Mark found a bad area in a ridge cap and a vent pipe boot that was dry and cracking. Instead of making an appointment for a future repair he found some materials on his truck and made both repairs at that time. The charge was minimal and the problems were fixed. The whole experience with Knox was very positive. They made little to no profit on this job but created a long time customer. Now I know why you see their trucks and signs all over town. Give them a call on all your roofing needs. You want be disappointed."
